As a Screener in a busy food and beverage location, you will greet guests, monitor entry points, and support screening procedures that help reduce security-related concerns. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.

+ Screen individuals and personal items at designated entry points in accordance with post instructions, reporting unusual activity, restricted items, and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting security-related response procedures as needed.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, assist with directions and questions, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions and communicating maintenance, housekeeping, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
