We are seeking a detail-oriented Termite/Pest Technician (Exterminator) to protect our customers’ properties from termites and other pests. In this role, you will conduct thorough inspections, identify infestations, and apply effective treatment and prevention services. You will be the face of the company and a trusted advisor to clients.
What You’ll Do- Inspect homes, including attics and crawl spaces, to locate termites and damage.
- Use specialized tools and products to eliminate termites, including drilling, digging, and setting bait stations.
- Educate customers on how to protect their homes from future infestations.
- Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly to customers.
- Drive a company vehicle to job sites after training.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to learn (paid training provided).
- Good customer service skills.
- Availability to work Monday–Friday and occasional weekends.
- Work in varied environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp, dusty, or dark locations.
- Require significant physical activity: sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Enter and work in tight, confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
- Work at heights, including climbing ladders and working on roofs.
- Potential exposure to insects, chemicals, and building materials.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
Hourly: $17.00 – $23.00
Pay may vary by location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may include overtime, incentives, commissions, performance bonuses, and route assignments.
