Courier​/Swing Drvr​/DOT

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles to safely deliver and pick up packages, ensuring conformance to Fed Ex shipping features and service standards. Cover all assigned routes within the station's service area and provide related customer service functions. Perform additional duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED.

Six (6) months of courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the assigned service area.

• Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs (or heavier with appropriate equipment or assistance).
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Adaptability, dependability, and competent courier techniques.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Adequate reading and speaking English to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic officials, and respond to inquiries as per FMCSA guidance.

Maintain a neat appearance for customer contact. Meet all federal motor carrier safety regulations, including medical exam requirements. Maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record as outlined in policy. Position is not safety‑sensitive. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely.

Additional qualifications may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.

USD 25.65 – 38.93 per hour (based on experience, market, and location).

Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00.
