Staff Accountant

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join a growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting responsibilities, financial reporting, and supporting month-end close activities in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy

+ Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports

+ Analyze variances and assist with budgeting support as needed

+ Collaborate with AP, AR, and other departments to ensure accurate financial data

+ Assist with audit preparation and compliance with GAAP

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

+ 1-3 years of accounting experience

+ Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP, etc.)

+ Solid understanding of general ledger and financial reporting

+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
