The position of Staff Accountant will perform a variety of accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, journal entries, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and supporting audits and financial reporting. This position reports to the Controller.
Qualifications
- Dedication to excellence and quality output
- BBA or BS with a major in accounting and two plus years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Reporting
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Experience with ERP Systems. Knowledge of Info Visual software a plus
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Audit experience preferred
- Compliance Experience
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office ®
- Promote excellence throughout the organization
- Payroll processing
- Accounts receivable collections
- Prepare financial reports and statements including support for month-end and year-end close processes
- General ledger reconciliations, journal entry processing
- Assist with physical inventory administration
- Establish and maintain customer account information
- Compile Sales by State Report and file coinciding sales tax for multiple states
- Support other departments for effective collaboration
- Provide general support to the accounting team by assisting with various tasks and projects as needed, ensuring smooth daily operation across functions
