Eckert Wordell (EW) is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our accounting, business administration, and human resources department. Headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan, EW has been a healthcare architecture, interior design, and engineering design leader for more than 40 years. - Perform, under periodic supervision, a variety of routine accounting functions including:
- Process accounts payable checks
- Process monthly client invoices and statements
- Maintain COI files for consultants
- Process timesheets weekly
- Record employee receivable charges
- Reconcile VISA statements and bank accounts
- Prepare and deliver bank deposits
- Assist with maintenance of subsidiary ledgers and spreadsheets
- Provide general assistance to the accounting, business administration, and human resources department and other duties as requested
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience; prefer 5+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a least 3 years of accounting experience; or an equivalent of education and experience
$40,000–50,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills.
