you will be doing
The Scheduler will be responsible for creating monthly nursing staff schedules, managing real-time staffing adjustments, and serving as the primary point of contact for all scheduling-related questions and concerns.
The Scheduler plays a vital role in the daily operations of our community by maintaining employee schedules in Kronos, documenting time-off requests and call-offs, and communicating schedule changes clearly and efficiently. This position also provides administrative support, responds to phone calls and emails, and works collaboratively with department leaders to ensure appropriate staffing coverage and continuity of care.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and at least 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting. Previous scheduling experience is strongly preferred. The ideal Scheduler will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. CNA certification is preferred.

- Have 1-2 years of administrative experience in an office environment, preferably in healthcare and prior experience with scheduling.
- Prior experience scheduling for skilled nursing or long-term care is a plus.
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, preferred.
