Your Role:As a Project Engineer, you will support all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working in both the office and the field, you will collaborate with project teams, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in project coordination, documentation, scheduling, quality control, and field operations.
WhatYou'll Do:
- Partner with Project Managers, Estimators, and Field Supervisors to drive project success.
- Serve as a key communicator between Owners, Architects/Engineers, Contractors, and Suppliers.
- Maintain and update project schedules to keep everything on track.
- Assist in managing budgets and controlling job costs.
- Coordinate contractor activities and expedite material deliveries.
- Support contract and purchase order preparation.
- Review and process shop drawings and submittals.
- Help implement quality assurance and sustainable construction practices.
- Champion safety by enforcing Miller-Davis's Safety Program and regulations.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture—or equivalent experience.
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint).
- A passion for construction and a drive to grow into a Project Manager or Superintendent role.
