Part time on call, shifts available 7 days/week (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM)

The Spirit of the PositionThe Cashier is responsible for greeting, engaging and interacting with all customers exiting and some customers entering the facility. The position requires cash handling, making correct change, monitoring transactions, and related tasks for traffic entering/exiting the facility.
- Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service.
- Collect the parking fees and provide correct change.
- Help customers use the automated equipment.
- Understand and know how to handle different types of parkers (visitors, employees, administration, etc.).
- Understand the surroundings and building area in order to answer questions.
- Complete the daily report.
- Assist in staffing the exit or entry during peak collection hours to facilitate exit/entry if problems occur.
- Communicate with management, supervisors, and traffic directors.
- Answer customer service questions concerning parking and general inquiries courteously, professionally and effectively, referring questions to the supervisor when applicable.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Cash handling experience is required.
- Parking industry experience preferred but not required.
- Dynamic – charismatic, full of energy, and happy to help in any way you can.
- Dependable – responsible and reliable under all circumstances.
- Good under pressure – able to handle high‑volume situations without folding or becoming overwhelmed.
- Proficient in basic math.
- Communicate professionally and effectively.
- A team player – open to different opinions and able to motivate your team.
- Capable of working in an unsupervised setting.
- Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
