Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a banking team in Michigan. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a service-focused, detail-oriented individual who enjoys helping customers over the phone, resolving questions efficiently, and identifying solutions that match their financial needs. In this role, you will handle high-volume inbound interactions, strengthen customer relationships, and provide guidance on accounts, digital services, and related banking products in a fast-paced call center environment.

This is 100% onsite, M-Saturdays, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming customer calls with courtesy, accuracy, and a strong commitment to service quality.
• Resolve account and service inquiries efficiently while ensuring each interaction is clear, courteous, and timely.
• Build trust with customers by listening carefully, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate banking solutions.
• Explain available products and services, including digital and self-service options such as online banking and bill payment tools.
• Support new account setup and complete routine account updates in accordance with established procedures.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional services, including lending, business banking, and investment-related appointments when appropriate.
• Document interactions, track service and sales activity, and contribute to individual and team performance goals.
• Navigate multiple internal platforms to research customer information and complete transactions accurately.
• Assist with collections-related inquiries and provide support in other service areas based on team needs or management direction.
