Radiation Oncologist West Michigan Cancer Center – Kalamazoo, Michigan

West Michigan Cancer Center (WMCC), an independent, physician‑led non‑profit cancer center, is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our collaborative team in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

A fully centralized practice model — no satellite coverage. This structure supports true collegiality, streamlined communication, shared PTO coverage, and the ability to meaningfully subspecialize within a balanced practice.

Regular site‑specific tumor boards with engaged surgical, medical oncology, radiology, and pathology colleagues. Care coordination is embedded in the culture.

WMCC is part of the National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Research Program and participates in the Cancer Research Consortium of West Michigan, providing access to more than 350 NCI‑supported clinical trials. Research infrastructure is supported by a dedicated clinical trials nursing team, allowing innovative therapies to be delivered locally.

Clinical appointment with Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, with opportunities to teach medical students and rotating residents. Academic engagement is supported and encouraged. Faculty appointment includes full access to the medical school’s library resources and extensive electronic journal subscriptions.
