Please be advised that a full-time building substitute teacher is needed at Parchment Middle School for the 2025-26 school year. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Principal.

• 60 collegiate credit hours minimum
• Prior experience subbing in a variety of classrooms preferred
• Completion of Non-violent crisis training (CPI) preferred
• Must be a team player, reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Applicants must submit to criminal background check

• Assist and monitor students with services in instructional activities
• Able to utilize positive behavior support strategies
• Collect data and complete accurate documentation as directed

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; stand; sit; use hands for fine manipulation, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms using a keyboard and video display terminal. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus, depth perception and peripheral vision.
