RATE OF PAY: $41,116 DOQ SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Early Childhood team as a GSRP Lead Teacher. This full-time position involves creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will implement the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) curriculum, engage with families, and collaborate with staff to ensure a holistic approach to early childhood education.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or credentials as required by state regulations.
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting, preferably in a lead teacher role.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for diverse learners.
  • Proficiency in using technology for classroom management and communication purposes.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for early childhood education.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the GSRP curriculum.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
  • Assess and monitor children’s progress and development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and individual development plans.
  • Collaborate with other educators and specialists to address the diverse needs of students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
  • Support the development of social skills, emotional regulation, and positive behavior in students.

Some driving is required both in and out of District; and therefore, transportation is necessary. Some extended hours and multiple demands for several people are frequently required of the employee.
