Instructor - Business Information Systems - Terminal​/Appt

Overview

The position supports teaching BUS
1750, with seven sections per academic year, and provides expanded advising hours and mentorship within the Business Learning Community.

• Teach four sections of BUS
  1750 in fall term and three sections in the spring term.
• Provide expanded advising hours for students, addressing curricular and career advising.
• Assist the BUS 1750 Course Coordinator and Course Facilitator in course administration as needed.
• Provide coverage for a class if another instructor cannot attend.
• Help recruit new instructors as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business or management from an accredited institution by the Higher Learning Commission.
• 1 year (2 semesters or more) of undergraduate teaching experience in an introduction to business course at an AACSB accredited business school.
• 10 years of business experience that demonstrates the applicant executed tasks with significant responsibility.
