Instructor – Business Information Systems (Terminal – 1 Year Appointment)

Location: WMU-Kalamazoo - Main Campus.

Salary: Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience, combined with an excellent benefits package.

General

Summary:

The instructor will teach seven sections of BUS
1750 per academic year, provide expanded advising hours, and support advising and mentorship activities with the Business Learning Community.

• Teach four sections of BUS
  1750 in the fall term and three sections in the spring term.
• Provide expanded advising hours for students, addressing both curricular and career advising.
• Assist the BUS 1750 Course Coordinator and Course Facilitator in administering the course as needed.
• Cover a class if another instructor cannot attend.
• Recruit new instructors as needed.

• Master’s degree in business or management from an accredited institution by the Higher Learning Commission.
• At least one year (two semesters or more) of undergraduate teaching experience in an introductory business course at an AACSB-accredited business school.
• Ten years of business experience demonstrating significant responsibility.
