Lang Recruiting has an exciting opportunity for a Delta
V Engineer to join a growing automation team supporting the Life Sciences industry. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in dynamic system integration environments and want to make a direct impact on projects that advance global healthcare.
As a Delta
V Engineer, you’ll design, configure, and implement advanced Emerson Delta
V automation solutions for biopharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing. You’ll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, regulatory-compliant automation while also mentoring junior engineers and growing your own expertise.
- Design and configure Emerson Delta
V control systems and batch processes (ISA-88 standards). - Develop system architecture, specifications, and control strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Configure controllers, HMI, and historian solutions with compliance to GAMP5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Lead FAT/SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of automation/control system engineering, with strong Delta
V experience. - Proficiency in ISA-88 Batch Processing and Delta
V Batch configuration. - Familiarity with automation protocols (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, OPC).
- Life Sciences experience preferred, but strong Delta
V backgrounds from other industries will be considered. - Knowledge of GAMP5, cGMP, and validation processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for client support and commissioning.
