We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer to lead advanced IR&D initiatives focused on aerospace technologies, product innovation, and continuous improvement. This role drives development of new engineering methods, materials, systems, and processes with significant business and customer impact.

• Lead complex aerospace engineering and IR&D programs from concept through validation and implementation
• Develop innovative products, technologies, manufacturing processes, and analytical methods
• Conduct advanced engineering analysis, testing, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product performance, quality, and cost optimization
• Research, evaluate, and operationalize emerging technologies and advanced engineering solutions
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and recommendations to leadership and customers
• Establish engineering standards, methodologies
  , and best practices aligned with aerospace regulations
• Mentor engineers and support technical development, knowledge transfer, and problem-solving initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline (MS preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive aerospace or advanced engineering experience
• Strong expertise in engineering design, analysis, testing, manufacturing

• Proven experience leading complex technical projects and cross-functional teams
• Deep understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and engineering best practices
• Ability to work independently and influence technical and business decisions at senior levels
