Civil Design Engineer
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for the site design of a wide range of projects, including commercial, residential, municipal, industrial, educational, and healthcare developments. Your work will also involve designing stormwater management systems such as catch basins, storage basins, underground chambers, and pump stations.
Responsibilities- Plan and develop site plans including grading, drainage, and zoning.
- Prepare project drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Prepare schematic design and drawings, layouts, drafting, and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Evaluate land use and zoning requirements, including zoning ordinances and site plan approval.
- 5+ years of civil design experience in Civil 3D for land development/site development projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering, Design, and Civil Design.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Land Development, Site Development, and Stormwater Management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- EIT or PE License.
- Experience in civil site design for commercial, residential, municipal, industrial, educational, and healthcare projects.
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $39.00/hr.

Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI. This is a fully onsite position in Kalamazoo, MI.
