Seeking an experienced Electric Motor Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of AC/DC motors and related electromechanical systems. This role requires strong expertise in gear design, manufacturing, product development, project leadership, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM/DFA) principles. The engineer will manage technical projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support customers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop AC/DC motors, gears, and electromechanical products.
- Lead engineering projects from concept through production.
- Create project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
- Perform design verification, testing, FEA, simulation, and performance analysis.
- Develop tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes for new products.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, drawings, and engineering records.
- Drive continuous improvement and support design-for-manufacturing initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- Extensive experience in gear design and manufacturing
. - Strong knowledge of product development, project management, and engineering analysis.
- Experience with CAD, FEA, simulation tools, and DFM/DFA principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
