Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This role involves handling essential financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with Quick Books and a strong understanding of financial processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

- Maintain and update financial records using Quick Books software.

- Enter and verify data to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial documentation.

- Handle invoice processing and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

- Generate financial reports to support decision-making and organizational transparency.

- Conduct financial analysis related to investments and budgeting.

- Assist in payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate compensation.

- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies.

- Provide support during audits and other financial reviews. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proficiency in using Quick Books for financial record management.

- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation.

- Knowledge of financial reporting and analysis techniques.

- Ability to handle budgeting and investment-related financial tasks.

- Experience with payroll processing is preferred.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
