Senior Vice President​/Chief Financial Officer

Western Michigan University seeks a strategic, forward-looking leader to serve as Senior Vice President for Budget and Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role is central to advancing the University’s mission by ensuring long-term financial sustainability, enabling student success and aligning institutional resources with areas of greatest academic distinction and societal impact.

Western Michigan University is at a pivotal moment, with a significant opportunity to strengthen its long-term financial position while sharpening institutional focus and impact. Reporting directly to the President, and also serving as the Treasurer and Assistant Secretary to the WMU Board of Trustees and the Treasurer of the WMU Foundation, the CFO is as a key member of the executive leadership team and a critical leader for all financial, operational, and resource allocation matters across the University.
