Description:

Position requires a focus on cardiac telemetry.
Shifts are scheduled for nights from 18:00 to 06:00.
Call requirements are not applicable.
Weekend work is required every other weekend.
Holiday work requires participation in 2 out of 3 holidays.
Guaranteed hours are 36 per week.
Candidates with a minimum of one year of relevant experience will be considered.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Candidates must have certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
Local candidates are not accepted; travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
Pending licenses are accepted; candidates must apply for the license immediately upon receiving an offer.
Scrub color is Caribbean Blue.
The unit provides care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses, including chest pain, STEMI, and CHF.
The patient ratio is typically 6 patients per nurse during all shifts.
The daily census averages around 42 patients, with a unit bed capacity of 46.
Candidates should expect to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.
Completion of required training modules is expected prior to the start of the assignment.
Professional conduct is strictly monitored, and any unprofessional behavior may result in immediate contract termination.
