FVK is recruiting for a hospitality focused Utility worker to join our Independent Living Culinary Team! This role is responsible for removing dirty dishes, glasses, silverware, linens, and garbage from the dining room and employee breakroom, and the health center dining room.

Full‑time/Part Time opportunity, where you are not working late hours.
Starting pay it $15.00

• Sets up dish and pot washing areas.
• Scrapes, scrubs and prewashes pots, pans, utensils and dishes.
• Loads and runs all items through the dish machine.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, pans, dishes and utensils.
• Empties trash containers and recycles cardboard. Delivers trash and cardboard to the trash cart.

• High school diploma preferred. Must have the ability to read, write and speak English, understand measurements, make basic conversions, perform basic arithmetic, and follow basic oral and written instructions.
• Prefer some bussing, dishwashing, general cleaning and/or stocking experience but will train.
• Ability to plan and organize work and to interpret instructions and standards.
