PAY RATE: $15.00 - $17.00/Hour (Non-Exempt)

Assist with the delivery of all Human Resource area duties. Responsible for day-to-day management of HR operations, including administration of policies, procedures, practices, and all disciplines of Human Resources:
Recruitment, Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Employee Engagement, and Compensation. Serve as the front-line connection to all Resort and Tribal Team Members.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent Guest Service to guests, internal and external, through active engagement and positive attitude.
  • Compile, maintain, and review logs, reports, and statistical records and ensure efficient recordkeeping methods.
  • Assists Benefits and HR as needed in a variety of recordkeeping functions, including note‑taking, data entry, and auditing of policy and procedures.
  • Advise Managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline process.
  • Provide education and materials to managers and team members, including workshops, manuals, and employee handbooks.
  • Manage identification and completion of open position requisitions; ensure all positions posted per Resort policies.
  • Ensure all applicants meet minimum qualifications; manage recruitment and selection process.
  • Maintain employee turnover reports and documentation.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of protected employee information.
  • Provide Benefit Orientation to Eligible Employees.
  • Read, implement, and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures (NWCR, LVD Gaming Ordinance, Tribal/State Gaming Compact, etc.).
  • Assist with Employee Benefits Enrollment and Termination.
  • Provide day‑to‑day Benefits Administration services, assist employees with claim issues, and administer disability and workers' compensation claims.
  • Develop an employee‑oriented company culture emphasizing quality and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain effective department communication.
  • Manage training, supervision, scheduling, and development of all Department Team members.
  • Attend necessary meetings and training to remain compliant with Casino Regulatory policies.
  • Remain flexible and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Skills & Qualifications Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of Record Keeping and Filing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Database Management.
  • One (1) year experience in Customer Service.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must pass background checks and other pre‑employment screenings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Laws.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Compliance Requirements.
  • Knowledge of Employment Law.
Preference for Hiring
  • Enrolled LVD Tribal Member.
  • Parents/Legal Guardian of LVD Tribal member children and spouses of Tribal Members.
