CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Training Specialist in University Center, MI. Candidates must be able to commute onsite and travel to the Hemlock Wafer Plant.

Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field, or 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (new grads considered)
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Training Specialist to deliver New Employee Orientation (NEO) for 50+ new hires per week and support ongoing training initiatives. This role includes facilitating training sessions, coordinating onboarding logistics, working with department teams, delivering compliance training, and tracking training effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Conduct engaging NEO and departmental training sessions
- Coordinate onboarding schedules, speakers, and technology setup
- Collect feedback and continuously improve training programs
- Partner with leadership to align onboarding with operational goals
- Work with Maintenance on department-specific training initiatives
- Deliver compliance training and track certification completion
- Monitor onboarding metrics and measure training effectiveness
- Experience in training facilitation, instructional design, or employee development
- Strong presentation and communication skills with diverse audiences
- Knowledge of onboarding best practices and adult learning principles
- Proficient with training tools and LMS systems
- Highly organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
