We are seeking an experienced MES Technical Consultant to support mission-critical manufacturing system deployments in a highly collaborative onsite environment. Work Model: 100% Onsite – No Remote Option
Job SummaryLooking for a hands-on MES Technical Consultant to execute installation, configuration, connectivity, and deployment activities. The role requires close collaboration with technical leads, solution architects, and cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless MES implementation and operational readiness.
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)- Strong hands-on experience with MES installation, configuration & environment setup
- Experience supporting deployment, migration, and upgrade activities
- Ability to implement technical designs and configuration standards
- Experience working with cross-technical teams (
SAP, IT-Security, Networking, Infrastructure
) - Strong troubleshooting and issue escalation capabilities
- Ability to independently manage daily/weekly/monthly status calls with SMEs
- Experience collaborating directly with Solution Architects
- Strong documentation and handover management skills
- Execute MES installation, configuration, and connectivity setup
- Prepare environments for deployment, migration, and system upgrades
- Implement technical designs defined by the technical lead and solution architect
- Act as day-to-day technical contact for site teams
- Support cross-team troubleshooting during build and validation phases
- Identify risks, blockers, and escalating appropriately
- Manage and maintain project documentation
- Ensure seamless collaboration across integration, authoring, and infrastructure teams
This is a high-visibility onsite role in Kalamazoo, MI
, requiring strong ownership and the ability to work independently across multiple technical teams.
