MES Technical Consultant

Overview

Immediate need for a talented MES Technical Consultant for a 6+ month contract with long‑term potential. The position is located in Kalamazoo, MI (Hybrid). Job ‑09770. Pay: $64–$65/hour. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (subject to work location).

• Perform hands‑on MES installation, configuration, environment preparation, and connectivity for deployment, migration, and upgrades.
• Implement technical designs, standards, and configuration patterns defined by the client technical lead and solution architect.
• Act as day‑to‑day technical contact for site teams and support cross‑team troubleshooting during build and validation phases.
• Identify technical issues, risks, and blockers, and escalates promptly to the technical lead for resolution.
• Create and manage project‑level documentation and ensure accurate handovers to operations or validation teams.
• Collaborate with integration, authoring, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end technical delivery.
• Work with cross‑technical teams (SAP, IT‑Sec, Networking, etc.) and with the L2 integration production team directly with the solution architect.
• Handle all activities independently and manage all daily, weekly, and monthly status calls with SMEs.

• Strong hands‑on experience in MES installation and configuration.
• Experience with MES integration and connectivity (SAP, databases, and enterprise systems).
• Expertise in deployment, migration, and upgrade activities for MES environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work independently across cross‑functional teams.
