IT Desktop Support Technician

TEKsystems client seeks multiple qualified candidates to support their IT department's Desktop Support team. Opportunity for growth in IT support on a Contract‑to‑Hire basis. Ideal candidates have experience in helpdesk, desktop support, or PC technician roles; IT certifications desirable.

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and a range of software applications.
• Swap out laptops/desktops and deploy Windows 10/11.
• Re‑image Windows 11 onto machines from Windows 10.
• Assist users with any logged IT‑related incidents.
• Take ownership of issues through problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes, escalating incidents to other support teams when necessary.
• Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system.
• Install and configure new IT equipment.
• Resolve incidents involving printers, copiers, and scanners.
• Maintain a first‑class level of customer service, ensuring all customers are treated efficiently and appropriately.

• Previous helpdesk, desktop support, or PC technician experience.
• Proficiency diagnosing and repairing OS and application issues on Windows and Mac platforms.
• Experience with imaging, deployment, and configuration of Windows 10/11 systems.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate effectively with users.
• Valid IT certifications are desirable.

Contract‑to‑Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.

Pay range: $18.00 - $21.00/hr benefits may include:
