Kalamazoo Valley is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to work as part of a team within information technologies to implement and maintain business intelligence solutions.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities- Works with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs.
- Collaborates with other data professionals to analyze and extract data from multiple sources and transform it into useable formats.
- Automates data movement, transformation and refresh processes.
- Schedules and monitors routine reporting processes.
- Follows best practices to analyze, troubleshoot and support information systems to meet defined business requirements.
- Designs, develops, tests, implements and maintains reports and deliverables.
- Assists stakeholders and other data professionals with data quality validations.
- Provides production support, troubleshooting and performance optimization for business intelligence applications.
- Works with managers to provide role- and user-based security for access.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of acceptable computer and information technologies applications and operations.
- Skill in meeting the needs of internal customers.
- Skill in researching and analyzing data and reports.
- Skill in problem solving and creating solutions, both technically and procedurally.
- Skill in the use of computers and software applications related to the essential functions of the job.

Appropriate education, training, experience and talents are requirements. An example of this would be an associate degree in computer science or a related field, and two (2) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. .
