Location:

This position is ONSITE in Kalamazoo, MI. As an IT System & Security Administrator / Team Lead at FFL, you will:
  • administer FFL’s information technology systems and support reliable day-to-day operations.
  • lead, develop, and manage IT team performance, including employee reviews, hiring decisions, and corrective action when needed.
  • oversee network, LIMS, portal, and server administration.
  • manage storage, backup administration, and disaster recovery processes.
  • ensure HIPAA security, privacy, and compliance requirements are maintained.
  • maintain secure administration of email, phone, and VPN systems.
  • manage vendor relationships and technology service providers.

What valuable experience you will bring to the table?
  • You have earned a bachelor’s degree and have ten (10) years or more of IT Systems, Operations, and Security Administration, and you have five (5) years of team leadership experience.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Other required skills include the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and exercise good judgment and initiative. Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to proactively solve problems, plan and coordinate projects, multitask and prioritize, and accurately proofread materials and communications. Be willing to learn what each Department at FFL does to support the company.
