Job Title: Trust and Estates Legal Assistant

Location: Detroit, MI

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Trust and Estates Legal Assistant with 4+ years of experience to join their legal team in Detroit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust and estates law and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and legal support to trust and estates attorneys.
• Draft and review wills, trusts, and estate planning documents.
• Conduct legal research and assist in case preparation.
• Maintain and organize case files and documents.
• Prepare correspondence and court forms.
• Schedule court dates, appointments, and meetings.
• Communicate with clients and other parties.
• Assist in trial preparation and support during court proceedings.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in trust and estates law.
• Strong understanding of trust and estates procedures and litigation processes.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
