Litigation Paralegal

Kopka Law Group is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal in our Farmington Hills, Michigan office. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, detail oriented, and dependable professional who is eager to play an integral role in supporting our attorneys and contributing to the success of our team.

• Responsible for a heavy civil litigation desk.
• Managing the litigation process for each of your files.
• Drafting legal documents such as motions and discovery.
• Working with medical records (summaries and chronologies).
• Scheduling Independent Medical Examinations and expert depositions.
• Assisting with trial preparation. Including but not limited to: trial notebooks, exhibits, jury instructions, and motions in limine.
• Assisting with deposition preparation.

• Knowledge of Outlook and Filevine, or other law practice management software.
• Minimum of five years' insurance defense experience.
• Ability to stay organized while multi-tasking.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
