The Role

This position reinforces efforts to meet the strategic goals of the credit union, including providing outstanding service to internal and external members as defined by living and demonstrating the core values of the credit union;
Act with Integrity, Drive Progress, Build & Strengthen Relationships and Keep People at the Core. The Regional Manager is accountable to manage aspects of multiple reporting groups within a region. This position will aid the Regional Director by leading, training, developing and coaching Branch Managers and their team members throughout the assigned region.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manages team to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of Advia, including monitoring performance, coaching, mentoring, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, service standards, policies, and work guidelines. Appraise performance and provide recommendations for promotion, disciplinary action, and termination, as appropriate.
  • Work with the Regional Director and Senior Management to develop strategies for market growth, profitability, and efficiency. Action and execute on these strategies to meet and exceed sales and service goals. Assist Regional Director by helping team members, including managers, in the region meet or exceed established goals.
  • Review the operational practices of branches in the region, continuously looking for ways to keep high service levels for our members. Partner with Operations Support, Project Managers and other departmental managers as needed.
  • Represent and promote Advia in community.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Additionally, all employees must follow policies and procedures to minimize risk by exercising judgment, raising questions to management, and adhering to policy guidelines.
Requirements

Experience: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

Education/Certifications/Licenses: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school equivalent to approximately 64 credit hours.
