Responsibilities- Follow all company safety rules and lock‑out tag‑out procedures.
- Operate forklift and roll clamp truck.
- Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
- Assume an active role in overall plant and facilities‑related work, assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Passable pre‑employment background check and drug test.
- Must be able to sit, stoop, bend and lift up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S., able to read a tape measure, and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
- Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Willingness to work closely with other production personnel.
- Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems and troubleshoot issues.
- Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle impromptu schedule changes to meet customer needs.
- Ability to multi‑task and stay organized.
- Hourly pay rate for an Associate Level 2 Forklift Operator is $23.24.
