Salary Range: $44,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain EDM machinery for precision manufacturing.
• Program EDM equipment using CAD/CAM software to meet part specifications.
• Monitor EDM processes, adjusting parameters to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on EDM machines.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDM machine operation and output.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for EDM operations
• Demonstrated proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM equipment

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance and calibration on equipment.
