The press operator is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of presses. Each job must run with safety, accuracy and timeliness.

• Performs operations on assigned machines.
• Working knowledge of drill and brake presses, tube bender, and shear.
• Knowledge of large, automated press with feeder lines.
• Will perform routine die or uni-tool setups.
• Uses simple measurement instruments to check work.
• Operate a forklift.
• Other job related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have prior manufacturing experience obtained through work and/or school programs.
• Must have press brake experience.
• Experience with drill presses, shears, benders and laser cutters.
• Fabrication experience is helpful.
• Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

• Required to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
• Occasionally required to reach, twist/turn, push/pull, stoop and bend.
• Repetitive hand/wrist movement and forearm rotation.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or carry up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to step on to and drive a forklift.
• Must be able to withstand heat and/or cold work environments.
