Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $22.00–$30.00/hour + Shift Differential
Schedule: Second Shift | Monday – Thursday | 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM

What You'll Do

As a CNC Vertical Mill Machinist, you'll be responsible for producing precision‑machined components while maintaining the highest standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot 3‑axis and 4‑axis CNC vertical milling machines.
  • Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and offset corrections as needed.
  • Inspect first‑piece and in‑process parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow quality standards, production procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Work closely with teammates to meet production schedules and customer expectations.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining or CNC operator experience.
  • Experience operating CNC vertical milling machines.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
  • Experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with high‑speed machining and machining best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
  • Self‑motivated with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
  • Dependable with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand and work throughout a full production shift.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in aerospace, medical device, or other precision manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with multi‑axis CNC machining.
  • Technical machining education or trade school certification.
