Control Panel Technician

• Build industrial control panels based on schematic, blueprint, and/or wire diagrams
• Route, label and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards
• Cut, fabricate, and modify electrical enclosures to accommodate devices and equipment
• Energize and test completed control panels
• Inspect finished control panels to verify that all specifications and quality standards have been met
• Assembling finished panels and/or boxes onto machinery
• Assist in assembly of machinery
• Assist in finishing area, I.e Paint/Powder coat/Black Oxide coatings.

• Minimum 2 years of experience building and wiring control panels
• Working knowledge of relay logic and electronic controls for industrial equipment
• Reading and understanding electrical schematics, panel layout and CAD drawings
• Understands electrical and electronic symbols – ANSI & IEC
• Maintain working knowledge of electrical standard NFPA 79
• Ability to use hand tools and small power tools to assemble units
• Familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic components
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively without direct supervision
• High school diploma or GED, some college or vocational training a plus
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
