Are you dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment? Join CLS — a family-owned textile rental company proudly serving businesses since 1899.

We are looking for a Wash Aisle Team Member to safely and efficiently process soiled linens, garments, textiles, and mats through our commercial wash and dry systems. This position plays a key role in maintaining production flow, quality standards, and MIOSHA safety compliance.

Move laundry bags into the wash aisle using proper equipment

Load and unload commercial washers, dryers, and tunnel washers

Select proper wash formulas based on product type

Monitor machines and report malfunctions immediately

Stage clean products for the next department

Maintain production pace while ensuring quality standards

Monitor and maintain automated chemical dispensing systems

Replace chemical containers using required PPE

Ensure chemicals are properly labeled and stored

Follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Hazard Communication procedures

Report chemical leaks, spills, or low inventory immediately

Maintain a clean work area to prevent slips, trips, and falls

Perform basic equipment cleaning and maintenance

Hot and humid during summer months

Exposure to steam, moisture, noise, and moving equipment

Standing and walking for extended periods

Push/pull industrial carts weighing 800+ lbs

Lift 50–75 lbs occasionally

Lift 20–30 lbs repetitively

Stand for extended periods

Accurately identify colors

Ability to read, write, and count in English

Strong attention to detail

Commitment to safety and MIOSHA compliance

Team-oriented mindset

Previous production or industrial experience preferred (but not required — we will train!)
