Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with 2 years of circulating experience for a day shift position in Michigan.
Responsibilities- Hospital-based Operating Room position
- Day shift with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 to 17:30
- Requires working 1 weekend every 6 weeks, with possible charge nurse responsibilities
- Six overnight call shifts per 6 week schedule
- On-call rotation for holidays as needed
- Uses Cerner charting system
- Scrub uniforms are provided
- Candidates may be assigned charge nurse duties when working weekends
- Holiday call and on-call rotation required as necessary
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team and support staff
- Active MI RN license required (pending license accepted if active by start date)
- Current BLS certification required
- At least 2 years of Operating Room RN experience, with competence in circulating
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- All travelers must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
