APP Bronson Family Medicine Stadium NP or PA-C – Kalamazoo, MI

• See full spectrum family practice patients
• Work alongside two physicians and three APPs
• No OB or inpatient medicine opportunity
• Hospital‑employed, full‑time outpatient only position
• Team approach with ambulatory care manager, clinical pharmacy support, social worker, and nurse triage

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current unrestricted or pending licensure in Michigan; DEA license to prescribe medications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; competency in SBAR
• Commitment to providing compassionate, quality, patient‑centered care
• Current prescriptive authority and collaborative agreement with oversight physician(s)
• Maintains all medical staff privilege requirements

• Perform comprehensive and problem‑focused histories and physical examinations; interpret lab and radiologic tests
• Formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans within scope of practice
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to facilitate progress toward outcomes
• Identify common patient complications and implement preventive measures
• Assist in development and integration of quality measures/evidence into clinical practice
• Utilization review: perform initial assessment to determine need for higher intensity services and secure appropriate level of care
• Evaluate and manage patients, interpret lab, EKG, imaging; document for billing, medical care, orders, progress notes; address nursing questions and status changes
• Maintain high level mental/visual focus during repetitive or detailed work; operate personal computer efficiently
