PRN Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) – OB/GYN, Kalamazoo, MI

Job SummaryBronson Medical Group seeks a PRN practitioner to contribute comprehensive OB/GYN care in a high‑volume setting with 11 OB/GYNs, 4 midwives, and 3 nurse practitioners.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to manage high‑risk, complex patients.
- Provide prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care, including patient education and counseling.
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation and manage clinical records.
- Apply evidence‑based practice for assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, synthesizing current data, literature, and patient values.
- Utilize prescriptive authority within state and federal regulations, including medication orders and referrals.
- Provide consultative support to nursing and medical staff on complex cases and care protocols.
- Lead or support the development of clinical policies, procedures, and educational programs.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research activities.
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with current Michigan licensure and active national certification.
- Master’s degree in nursing (MSN or MS) preferred; BSN with midwifery certificate acceptable.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in OB/GYN practice.
- Board‑certified Advanced Practice Nursing in the specialty area.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems and basic computer applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, and patient education.
