Inpatient Registered Nurse positions at Bronson Hospital. Candidates will work on Med/Surg units, including Adult Medical Unit (AMU), Cardiology, Extended Medical Care, General Medical, General Surgery, Neurovascular Unit, and Ortho Surgical Unit.

• Manage the care delivery for patients from admission to discharge, using the nursing process (assessment, planning, diagnosing, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care provided by other professionals and delegate patient care tasks within scope.
• Provide selected aspects of physical care appropriate to patient acuity and complexity.
• Document and communicate patient responses to care during each tour of duty.
• Read, interpret, and analyze data from various computer systems and equipment to guide care planning.
• Communicate verbally, in writing, and electronically with staff, patients, and families.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and use results to inform nursing practice.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge and competency through continuing education and evidence‑based practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Serve as a patient advocate and integrate ethical considerations in all areas of practice.

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred and must be obtained within 8 years of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing for the state of Michigan.
• Experience in inpatient medical/surgical settings preferred.
