American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care unit position requiring MI licensure, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Work in a 22-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Required to work every other weekend
• Required to work every other holiday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required as needed, including to affiliate hospitals depending on volume/census
• Uses Cerner Power Chart for charting

• Active MI RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; CPI certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Experience with 1:4 patient ratios preferred

• Provide intermediate-level nursing care to stepdown patients requiring close monitoring
• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Maximum RTO allowed is 10 days; if RTO falls during a holiday period, must be willing to work at least one of the three designated holidays
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Previous employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 3 years before returning as a traveler
