Position Overview

APP Urology – Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Bronson Medical Group, Bronson Methodist Hospital – Kalamazoo, Michigan

• Provide clinical care for new and follow‑up adult urology patients with physician oversight.
• Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and initiate appropriate treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Assist in patient education and counseling to promote self‑management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate quality care.
• Adhere to institutional policies, licensing regulations, and ethical standards.

• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current or pending Michigan licensure as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse in Urology (or related specialty).
• 1–2 years of clinical experience with adult patients, preferably in urology or continence care.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs for documentation and record‑keeping.

• Full‑time, 40‑hour work week (8am–5pm, Monday–Friday); no weekend or holiday work and no on‑call obligation.
