American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Telemetry RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and a Michigan RN license.

• 54-bed cardiac telemetry unit, the main cardiac telemetry unit at the facility
• Patient population includes heart failure, heart attack (STEMI/NSTEMI), stroke requiring cardiac monitoring, cardiac arrhythmias, and chest pain, with possible overflow medical patients
• Patients monitored both on the unit and remotely via telemetry room
• Manages cardiac drips (no titration)
• Typical patient ratios range 1:5-6, with potential increases to 1:7 during call-ins
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts )
• Every other weekend required
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• No call requirements
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Floating required based on facility census and staffing needs
• Charting system:
  Cerner Power chart

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Maximum of 10 days RTO permitted
• Candidates requesting holiday RTO must be willing to work one of the three major holidays
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 3 years before returning as a traveler
• Required to complete facility orientation modules within the first week of the assignment
