Travel RN - Mother Baby - Ante Partum

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Antepartum unit position requiring fetal monitoring certification and Michigan RN licensure.

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Minimum 18 months of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NCC EFM or AWHONN fetal monitoring certification
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Supervisor-level reference required
• Proof of flu vaccination required, with exemption requests submitted within 48 hours of signing if applicable

Responsibilities

• Work in the Antepartum core unit with float assignments to Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, or Bronson Battle Creek Birthplace as needed
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Float to house for patient sitter needs as required
• Travelers are first to float
• Provide antepartum nursing care with cross-training support for Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby units as needed
• Complete non-billable orientation modules (8 hours) and annual self-reported modules
• RTO limited to no more than 10 days
• Previous Bronson internal travelers may return after 6 months, and previous permanent staff may return after 1 year
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this position
