Respiratory Therapist

The role involves providing respiratory care to patients across various age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. You will perform assessments and interventions for respiratory issues. Experience with aerosol setups, BiPAP, CPAP, and ET tube management is necessary. Skills in drawing arterial blood gases and interpreting their results are essential. Candidates should be familiar with various ventilation strategies and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms.

Experience in managing ventilator settings and assisting in intubation procedures is preferred. Knowledge in emergency procedures and pediatric critical care is a plus. Candidates should be capable of performing chest physiotherapy and handling tracheostomy care/management. Documentation of care and patient progress in the designated charting system is expected. The role may include exposure to high-risk deliveries and critical patient conditions.

Flexibility to float to other areas may be required.
