Position: Sample Processor / Laboratory Tech (MT), part-time

Time Commitment: ON SITE Monday-Friday, approximately 8:30am-12pm

As a Sample Processor/Laboratory Technician at FFL, you will:
  • balance accuracy and speed to open, sort, and high‑speed log‑in samples using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
  • attend to detail when reviewing incoming samples and personal data forms.
  • accurately enter personal data and other necessary comments within a set timeline.
  • analyze and use best judgment to process missing and illegible information.
  • communicate clearly with team members regarding special customer instructions to ensure a quality process and customer satisfaction.
  • collaborate with the Laboratory Team for processing samples.
  • build and maintain a working knowledge of both illicit and pharmaceutical drug names and classifications.
  • work effectively in a team‑oriented environment; meet individual and team goals.
  • look for opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the departments.
  • potentially testify in court about the work you have done.
  • learn and adhere to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines.

What valuable experience and skills will you bring to the table?
  • You will have at least eight (8) years’ experience in a laboratory setting.
  • You love to work with detailed data for extended periods of time.
  • You successfully work independently and on a highly effective/efficient team, exercise good judgment and initiative, and manage time effectively.
  • You have earned at least a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MT), Chemistry, or Biology.
