This position is responsible for aggressively pursuing process cooling opportunities within North America. A proven track record of success in the refrigeration, heat-exchanger, and/or industrial HVAC sectors is essential. Candidates must demonstrate recent, hands-on experience in these industries, with a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. The role requires analyzing the sales territory, mapping segments, pursuing customers, and opening new sales channels.
Collaboration with the overall sales structure and Dimplex independent sales representatives is critical to drive sales in the territory. The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, and passionate about delivering results, with a strong background in generating leads through cold-calling, social selling (e.g., Linked In), and trade associations.
Applicants without direct, relevant industry experience will not be considered.
Skills and Abilities
- Minimum 7 years of progressive outside sales experience in a commercial or industrial context, with at least 5 years in refrigeration, heat-exchanger, or industrial HVAC industries.
- Demonstrated success in finding new business and delivering measurable market impact within the target industries.
- Metrics-focused and results-oriented mindset.
- Executive presence and ability to influence others with strong/creative presentation skills.
- Proficiency using digital sales and marketing tools.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with mechanical systems (refrigeration, pumps, electrical systems) is highly desirable.
- Identify and aggressively selling into markets for our process cooling solutions
- Promote our process cooing solutions to prospects and educate the market on our value propositions
- Assist in developing a clear business plan and strategy to win with new customers
- Provide feedback to Dimplex leadership regarding activities and communicate resource needs
- Implement effective sales approaches that expand our reach in North America and beyond
- Ability to work cross-culturally with Glen-Dimplex sister companies in Asia and Europe.
